Code, Real Property § 8B–102","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, on satisfaction of the requirements of Subtitle 2 of this title:\n(1) A manufactured home shall be:\n(i) Converted to real property; and\n(ii) Governed by the laws applicable to real property and not subject to Title 13 of the Transportation Article;\n(2) Any lien that can attach to real property shall attach in the same manner to a manufactured home that is converted to real property as to the parcel of real property to which the manufactured home has been affixed; and\n(3) The title and all rights to a manufactured home shall be transferred by deed with the transfer of the parcel of real property to which the manufactured home has been affixed.\n(b) This section does not apply to a manufactured home for which an affidavit of severance has been recorded under § 8B–302 of this title.","path":["Article - Real Property"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=grp\u0026section=8B-102","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:38Z","sha256":"24a297f6e15031b6312f74671ca3cf96e98be9b107bd4d00419d9aacf94eb6c9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-real-property-8b-101","next":"us-md/md.-code-real-property-8b-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
