Code, State Finance and Procurement § 10A–102","heading":"","body":"(a) It is the public policy of the State to utilize public–private partnerships, if appropriate, to:\n(1) develop and strengthen the State’s public infrastructure assets;\n(2) apportion between the public and private sectors the risks involved with developing and strengthening public infrastructure assets;\n(3) foster the creation of new jobs; and\n(4) promote the socioeconomic development and competiveness of Maryland.\n(b) It is the public policy of the State that a private entity that enters into a public–private partnership with a reporting agency comply with the Labor and Employment Article and the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=10A-102","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"1b784cbdca2bc7254fff91c702d06ac385c6898ce67b82df24386e88bbe10143","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-10a-101","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-10a-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
