Code, State Finance and Procurement § 10A–402","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a public–private partnership agreement may not exceed 50 years, including all renewals and extensions.\n(b) The Board of Public Works may:\n(1) waive the prohibition set forth in subsection (a) of this section if the Board determines that the reporting agency has demonstrated sufficient reason for the agreement to have a longer term; and\n(2) waive the prohibition set forth in subsection (a) of this section at any point during the presolicitation, proposal review, or agreement negotiations process.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=10A-402","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"8eb26918b5e227e76df79e24ea21d8e98b9031dbcc808afeb69e564f8d21f610","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-10a-401","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-10a-403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
