Code, State Finance and Procurement § 11–205.1","heading":"","body":"(a) In connection with a procurement contract a person may not willfully:\n(1) falsify, conceal, or suppress a material fact by any scheme or device;\n(2) make a false or fraudulent statement or representation of a material fact; or\n(3) use a false writing or document that contains a false or fraudulent statement or entry of a material fact.\n(b) A person may not aid or conspire with another person to commit an act under subsection (a) of this section.\n(c) A person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a felony and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or both.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=11-205.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"16526d0c82a7a7f36b2649e4d65ad1bece99a3628754cafaf51e1d187ee0bad1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-11-205","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-11-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
