Code, State Finance and Procurement § 13–201","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Change order” means a written order that:\n(1) is signed by the procurement officer; and\n(2) directs the contractor to make changes that the procurement contract authorizes the procurement officer to order without the consent of the contractor.\n(c) “Contract modification” means a written alteration that:\n(1) affects specifications, delivery point, date of delivery, period of performance, price, quantity, or other provisions of a procurement contract; and\n(2) is accomplished by mutual action of the parties to the procurement contract.\n(d) “Cost-reimbursement contract” means a procurement contract under which the State reimburses a contractor for fees and other costs that are:\n(1) recognized as allowable and allocable under the regulations of the Board on price and cost principles; and\n(2) within a stated ceiling.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=13-201","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"d416fcdd4405efc15878c2798dd7d7a2616b8859fb550e7687a5b05694cc6d26","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-13-117","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-13-202"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
