Code, State Finance and Procurement § 13–213","heading":"","body":"(a) In accordance with Title 10, Subtitle 1 of the State Government Article, the Board shall adopt regulations on price and cost principles based on generally accepted accounting principles.\n(b) The principles adopted by the Board shall be used:\n(1) as guidelines for negotiations on:\n(i) estimated costs or fixed prices;\n(ii) price adjustments for contract modifications and change orders; and\n(iii) settlements of terminated procurement contracts;\n(2) to establish the allowability of costs under procurement contract provisions for the reimbursement of costs; and\n(3) in any other situation that requires the establishment of the estimated or incurred costs of performing a procurement contract.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=13-213","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"ed8eb21ce7f353ac2247c9d26c55ffe8fd3ebcd4960bd33126f32139cf8429cd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-13-212.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-13-214"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
