Code, State Finance and Procurement § 18–106","heading":"","body":"(a) During any period in which an employee of the employer is entitled to a wage rate under this title, each employer subject to this title shall post in a prominent and easily accessible place at the work site of an employee described in § 18–102(a) of this title a notice of:\n(1) the living wage rate;\n(2) employee rights under this title; and\n(3) the name, address, and telephone number of the Commissioner.\n(b) The notice under this section shall be:\n(1) developed by the Commissioner in English, Spanish, and any other language commonly used by employees at a work site; and\n(2) (i) on request of an employer, provided without charge to the employer; or\n(ii) made available for download on the Internet without charge.\n(c) Subject to § 10–1001 of the State Government Article, the Commissioner may impose on a person that violates this section a civil penalty not exceeding $50 per violation.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=18-106","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"e525aad81edc82e81e3269dff96768daab4e7f0910a68068b1d4e483b8fa8f9f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-18-105","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-18-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
