Code, State Finance and Procurement § 4–210","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “POW/MIA flag” means the POW/MIA flag of the National League of Families of American Prisoners and Missing in Southeast Asia.\n(b) This section does not apply to:\n(1) the State House; or\n(2) a State building that:\n(i) is a historic building; or\n(ii) 1. has a flagpole attached to the building; and\n2. is determined to be structurally unable to withstand additional flags being flown from the flagpole.\n(c) The Secretary of General Services and the Secretary of Transportation shall cause the POW/MIA flag to be flown on the grounds of all State buildings under their control whenever the flag of the United States is flown.","path":["Article - State Finance and Procurement"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsf\u0026section=4-210","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:48Z","sha256":"0e5841243eca55f1d37d5c1df5cb9b7cf8e465c0344b70cb951362f6e82aa0e7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-4-209","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-finance-and-procurement-4-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
