Code, State Government § 10–1606","heading":"","body":"(a) An official publisher of legal material in an electronic record that is or was designated as official under § 10–1603 of this subtitle shall provide for the preservation and security of the record in an electronic form or a form that is not electronic.\n(b) If legal material is preserved under subsection (a) of this section in an electronic record, the official publisher shall:\n(1) ensure the integrity of the record;\n(2) provide for backup and disaster recovery of the record;\n(3) ensure the continuing usability of the material; and\n(4) deliver a copy to the State Archives.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=10-1606","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"a3c70dd4e79381190bab7a3194d1cffdb223095e31d48d78c5b2435905c7ec36","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-10-1605","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-10-1607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
