Code, State Government § 2–1259","heading":"","body":"The Department shall:\n(1) annually make:\n(i) a list that includes the name, position, term of office, and salary of each civil officer whom the Governor appointed during the preceding calendar year; and\n(ii) a list that includes the name, position, term of office, and salary of each civil officer whose term expires during the current calendar year;\n(2) (i) send a copy of each list to each member of the General Assembly; and\n(ii) make the lists available to any person who requests them; and\n(3) include on the lists only civil officers whom the Governor appoints, subject to the approval of the Senate or the House of Delegates.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=2-1259","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"6f20670067a3e1ea6b893669a7f27311dd2d195878b9e38f4726d78b416c70b4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-2-1258","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-2-1260"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
