Code, State Government § 20–1014","heading":"","body":"(a) A person may intervene in a civil action brought by the Commission under this part, if the action involves:\n(1) an alleged discriminatory act to which the person is a party; or\n(2) a conciliation agreement to which the person is a party.\n(b) The Commission may intervene in a civil action brought under this part, if:\n(1) the Commission certifies that the case is of general public importance; and\n(2) timely application is made.\n(c) The court may grant any appropriate relief to an intervening party that may be granted to a plaintiff in a civil action under § 20–1013 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=20-1014","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"2a7b4fe08b6b74726b11298308b25da98a0bc86e73c9af478ad380f458de545a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-20-1013","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-20-1015"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
