Code, State Government § 20–208","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “county office of civil rights” means the county office responsible for responding to complaints alleging discrimination in a county.\n(b) This section applies only to:\n(1) Anne Arundel County;\n(2) Baltimore City;\n(3) Baltimore County;\n(4) Howard County;\n(5) Montgomery County; and\n(6) Prince George’s County.\n(c) On or before October 1 each year, each county office of civil rights, or other appropriate agency, shall report the following information to the Commission:\n(1) the number of complaints received alleging discrimination in employment; and\n(2) for each complaint received:\n(i) the type of discrimination alleged;\n(ii) the category of job held by the complainant;\n(iii) whether the complainant is a public sector employee or a private sector employee;\n(iv) the complainant’s country of origin; and\n(v) whether the appropriate agency determined that a violation occurred.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=20-208","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"fdb9c456f3ca49e72b9c3a6391b9ef37b7a35fd4e1cb617ff9c3b8a46feb5827","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-20-207","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-20-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
