Code, State Government § 22–304","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) The Board shall appoint an Executive Director of the Board.\n(2) The Executive Director:\n(i) is responsible to and serves at the pleasure of the Board;\n(ii) must have knowledge of and experience with labor issues; and\n(iii) is entitled to the salary provided in the State budget.\n(b) The Executive Director shall perform the duties that the Board assigns, including:\n(1) operating the office of the Board; and\n(2) keeping the official records of the Board.\n(c) The Executive Director may hire any staff necessary to carry out the provisions of this title.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=22-304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"54337b55eaa489f9377c0941dd9015dad94e020ff04b1d9d1a8ddc10eeed842a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-22-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-22-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
