Code, State Government § 6.5–202","heading":"","body":"(a) Within 10 working days after receiving an application, the appropriate regulating entity shall:\n(1) publish notice of the application in the most widely circulated newspapers that are part of a nonprofit health entity’s service area; and\n(2) notify by first-class mail any person that has requested in writing notice of the filing of an application.\n(b) The notice under subsection (a) of this section shall:\n(1) state that an application has been received;\n(2) state the names of the parties to the acquisition;\n(3) describe the contents of the application;\n(4) state the date by which a person must submit written comments on the application; and\n(5) provide the date, time, and place of the public hearing on the acquisition.\n(c) The applicant shall bear the cost of the notice required under this section.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=6.5-202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"aa90db7b87ba3d0bcedfb1642fd8f9da68ce95e9bf1d93058ae56fd4e4e25d06","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-6.5-201","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-6.5-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
