Code, State Government § 9–20B–01","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Administration” means the Maryland Energy Administration.\n(c) “Board” means the Strategic Energy Investment Advisory Board established under § 9–20B–07 of this subtitle.\n(d) “Clean energy industry” means a group of employers and building and trade associations that are associated by their promotion of:\n(1) products and services that improve energy efficiency and conservation, including products and services provided by:\n(i) electricians;\n(ii) heating, ventilation, and air–conditioning installers;\n(iii) plumbers;\n(iv) energy auditors;\n(v) carpenters;\n(vi) pile–driver operators;\n(vii) millwrights;\n(viii) insulation workers; and\n(ix) well drillers; and\n(2) renewable and clean energy resources.\n(e) “Fund” means the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Fund.\n(f) “Program” means the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Program.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=9-20B-01","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"ebd05968a9cc365fa918445da7d4ae37cdb6096a461a789cbc4d0cf6797485c1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-9-20a-10","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-9-20b-02"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
