Code, State Government § 9–3407","heading":"","body":"// EFFECTIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2035 PER CHAPTERS 687 AND 688 OF 2021 //\n(a) On or before September 1, 2022, the Commission shall submit to the Governor and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, the General Assembly a report containing the Commission’s plan of action for the commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Maryland.\n(b) On or before November 1, 2022, and each November 1 thereafter, the Commission shall submit to the Governor and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, the General Assembly a report that includes:\n(1) an update on the plan of action submitted in accordance with subsection (a) of this section;\n(2) implementation timetables and benchmarks; and\n(3) recommendations for legislative, administrative, and other actions the Commission deems necessary to further its mission.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=9-3407","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"4fd8a560cfdcd4478b9e4f9d232ecfba7307039f96285270006baf890cac0d11","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-9-3406","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-9-3501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
