Code, State Government § 9–506","heading":"","body":"(a) The Trust shall retain an architect as a consultant.\n(b) The consultant must:\n(1) be registered by the State Board of Architects;\n(2) be familiar with all phases of 18th century architecture; and\n(3) have the professional experience that is needed to restore the State House in a way that befits its majestic history and its current role as the Capitol.\n(c) The consultant is entitled to the compensation provided in the State budget.\n(d) The consultant shall:\n(1) prepare measured drawings of the State House;\n(2) publish the drawings and a descriptive text;\n(3) send copies of the drawings to the National Trust for Historic Preservation; and\n(4) subject to § 2-1257 of this article, submit to the General Assembly a report on the drawings.","path":["Article - State Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsg\u0026section=9-506","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:58Z","sha256":"de9f920c109bc3f2f1d9ba0c6baa04b268c474a56a87d307a513319850a59bf6","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-9-505","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-government-9-601"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
