Code, State Personnel and Pensions § 13–401","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Service contract” means a procurement contract for services that:\n(1) will be provided to a unit in the Executive Branch of State government;\n(2) will be performed within a State-operated facility; and\n(3) in the estimation of the procurement officer, will exceed an annual cost of $100,000.\n(c) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, “services” has the meaning stated in § 11–101 of the State Finance and Procurement Article.\n(2) “Services” does not include information technology services and cybersecurity.\n(d) “Unit” has the meaning stated in § 11-101 of the State Finance and Procurement Article.","path":["Article - State Personnel and Pensions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsp\u0026section=13-401","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:07Z","sha256":"e7519697777d48e8b9ad60108c9bb9e76c2e1ea2e44bf6cff728b5d6300c84f6","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-13-305","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-13-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
