Code, State Personnel and Pensions § 2–515","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies to the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland, the Tri-County Council for Western Maryland, the Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, and the Mid-Shore Regional Council.\n(b) An employee of a council subject to this section may enroll and participate in the health insurance benefit options established under the Program with the approval of the council.\n(c) A council subject to this section shall:\n(1) pay to the State the total costs resulting from the participation of its employees in the Program; and\n(2) determine the extent to which the council will subsidize participation of its employees in the Program.","path":["Article - State Personnel and Pensions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsp\u0026section=2-515","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:07Z","sha256":"8ad24af6289a7f3fc001860096c9a157121130aaeb79babbbce487696817969b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-2-514","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-2-515.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
