Code, State Personnel and Pensions § 21–106","heading":"","body":"(a) Each trustee is entitled to one vote on the Board of Trustees.\n(b) A majority of the trustees then serving on the Board of Trustees is a quorum for:\n(1) the transaction of any business;\n(2) the exercise of any power; or\n(3) the performance of any duty authorized or imposed by law.\n(c) The Board of Trustees shall set the times and places of its meetings.\n(d) A trustee:\n(1) may not receive compensation from the several systems for service as a trustee; but\n(2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.","path":["Article - State Personnel and Pensions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsp\u0026section=21-106","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:07Z","sha256":"932f5302f4cc80563d4a1742ee179aad63406d2da8c33ae696d1cbff6f36e39f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-21-105","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-21-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
