Code, State Personnel and Pensions § 22–219","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies only to a member who is subject to Selection A (Additional member contributions) on October 1, 1994.\n(b) A member who is subject to Selection A (Additional member contributions) shall:\n(1) receive an allowance for all creditable service as follows:\n(i) for normal service retirement as provided by § 22–401 of this title;\n(ii) for early service retirement as provided by § 22–402 of this title;\n(iii) for ordinary disability retirement as provided by § 29–106 of this article; and\n(iv) for accidental disability retirement as provided by § 29–110 of this article;\n(2) have the allowance adjusted as provided in §§ 29–401 through 29–403 of this article; and\n(3) make the member contributions at the rate specified by § 22–214(a) of this subtitle.","path":["Article - State Personnel and Pensions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsp\u0026section=22-219","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:07Z","sha256":"8262fe234cba8a37aad0ca1ec70cdd7169645049b476e81706f95c44a62dd6ce","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-22-217","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-22-220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
