Code, State Personnel and Pensions § 23–222","heading":"","body":"A member who is subject to this part shall:\n(1) receive an allowance for all creditable service as follows:\n(i) for normal service retirement as provided in § 23-401(d) of this title;\n(ii) for early service retirement as provided in § 23-402 of this title;\n(iii) for ordinary disability retirement as provided in § 29-108 of this article; and\n(iv) for accidental disability retirement as provided in § 29-110 of this article;\n(2) have the allowance adjusted as provided in Title 29, Subtitle 4 of this article; and\n(3) make the member contributions at the rate specified in § 23-212(c) of this subtitle.","path":["Article - State Personnel and Pensions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsp\u0026section=23-222","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:07Z","sha256":"e8b095200d4cc22562eedb0b16f8c7d4dd7838197fe506de78d70ad38c801736","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-23-221","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-23-225"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
