Code, State Personnel and Pensions § 4–304","heading":"","body":"(a) On request of the Secretary, all employees and officers of the State shall assist the Department in all proper ways in carrying out this Division I and the regulations, guidelines, and policies adopted under it. This assistance shall be provided as a public duty and without extra compensation.\n(b) On request of the Secretary, all employees and officers of the State or of a county or municipal corporation of the State shall:\n(1) allow the Department reasonable use of public buildings for tests or investigations under this Division I;\n(2) provide heat and light for the public buildings used by the Department under this subsection; and\n(3) in all other proper ways, facilitate the work of the Department.","path":["Article - State Personnel and Pensions"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gsp\u0026section=4-304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:07Z","sha256":"f7d8182fe15729299c75251175999c2a1b00cfc5eedec5fc1fa258c13273997d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-4-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-state-personnel-and-pensions-4-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
