Code, Transportation § 11–170","heading":"","body":"(a) “Travel trailer” means a vehicle that is:\n(1) (i) Mounted on wheels;\n(ii) Of such a size and weight as not to require any special highway movement permit when towed by a motor vehicle;\n(iii) Designed and constructed primarily to provide temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or travel use; and\n(iv) No longer than 40 feet; or\n(2) A park model recreational vehicle.\n(b) “Travel trailer” includes a fifth wheel travel trailer.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=11-170","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"d62ee11f5f49faf53f829d599f4aabb293928d72c437e864fbae6ec25af8df6c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-11-169","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-11-171"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
