Code, Transportation § 11–176","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) “Vehicle” means, except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, any device in, on, or by which any individual or property is or might be transported or towed on a highway.\n(2) “Vehicle” includes a low speed vehicle and an off–highway recreational vehicle.\n(b) “Vehicle” does not include:\n(1) An electric personal assistive mobility device, as defined in § 21–101(j) of this article; or\n(2) A personal delivery device, as defined in § 21–104.5 of this article.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=11-176","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"ffd28d47303cfcb2a6d82a521050ad9f133e4a0665458ccbf0cbf5ae5c55c88e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-11-175.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-11-177"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
