Code, Transportation § 12–204","heading":"","body":"Notice of any hearing scheduled by this Administration shall state:\n(1) The date, time, place, and nature of the hearing;\n(2) The legal authority and jurisdiction of the Administration to hear the matter;\n(3) The facts in sufficient detail to enable a party to prepare his case;\n(4) The nature of the proposed action that the Administration is to consider;\n(5) The right of a party to call witnesses and offer documentary evidence under the provisions of § 10-213 of the State Government Article;\n(6) When applicable, the right of a party to request the subpoena of witnesses and the costs thereof;\n(7) That a copy of the hearing procedures is available on request of a party, and the cost to obtain a copy;\n(8) The right of a party to the hearing to be represented by counsel; and\n(9) If a licensee is a party to the hearing, the right of the Administration, on failure of the licensee to appear, to:\n(i) Order a suspension of the party’s license or privilege until the party appears for a hearing; or\n(ii) Impose any sanction proposed in the notice.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=12-204","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"03aa94cb0367070308536ee3554d289560a55f33e16ffd1848807933f1d0d1e4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-12-203","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-12-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
