Code, Transportation § 13–912","heading":"","body":"(a) When registered with the Administration, every passenger car and station wagon, except as otherwise provided in this part, is a Class A (passenger) vehicle.\n(b) For each Class A (passenger) vehicle, the annual registration fee is:\n(1) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of 3,500 pounds or less:\n(i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $70.50; and\n(ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $80.50;\n(2) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of more than 3,500 pounds but not more than 3,700 pounds:\n(i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $80.50; and\n(ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $85.50; and\n(3) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of more than 3,700 pounds:\n(i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $121.50; and\n(ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $151.50.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=13-912","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"e905c4d52604bcd5c790e9c0a3900131c56c85cebbe7adcb3e63695a1f265c27","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-13-911","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-13-913"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
