Code, Transportation § 13–918","heading":"","body":"(a) If a Class E (truck) vehicle is operated in combination with a nonfreight trailer or semitrailer under § 13-927(b)(1) of this subtitle, the Class E (truck) vehicle shall be registered for only the gross vehicle weight of the Class E (truck) vehicle and not the gross combination weight of the Class E (truck) vehicle and nonfreight trailer or semitrailer.\n(b) If a Class E (truck) vehicle is operated in combination with a freight trailer or semitrailer, under § 13-927(c)(1) of this subtitle, the Class E (truck) vehicle shall be registered for the gross combination weight, which includes the gross weight of the Class E (truck) vehicle, and the freight trailer or semitrailer with which it is in combination.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=13-918","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"b39f5a4c399f65e9afdaeb59c70c74206a6d2f4e50f547dbfae6d444c52aa70b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-13-917","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-13-919"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
