Code, Transportation § 15–203","heading":"","body":"(a) In addition to the information required under Subtitle 1 of this title, each application for a license shall include:\n(1) The address of the principal place of business of the applicant;\n(2) The address of each place from which the applicant will make substantial contacts with dealers in this State; and\n(3) The nature of the business to be conducted at each address.\n(b) Each applicant for a license shall submit as part of the application:\n(1) A copy of each form of any new vehicle warranty currently given or offered by the applicant;\n(2) A copy of each form of franchise and any other contract with dealers used by the applicant, together with a list of dealers in this State who hold a franchise from the applicant;\n(3) A copy of the vehicle preparation and delivery obligations of its dealers; and\n(4) A statement of the compensation the applicant agrees to pay a dealer for parts supplied and work done by the dealer under:\n(i) The preparation and delivery obligations referred to in item (3) of this subsection; or\n(ii) Any outstanding express or implied new vehicle warranty.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=15-203","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"95fc7c1449a29e7e87022545cd110fc0427da1959eed58bde82e26cc9bdc9050","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-15-202","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-15-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
