Code, Transportation § 15–604","heading":"","body":"(a) This section does not apply to:\n(1) A licensed dealer who is in compliance with the surety bond requirement of Subtitle 3 of this title; or\n(2) A motor club that is in compliance with the surety bond requirement of § 26–204 of the Insurance Article.\n(b) After the Administration notifies an applicant of the approval of an application and before the Administration issues a license, the applicant shall file with the Administration a surety bond in the form and with the surety that the Administration approves.\n(c) The amount of the surety bond shall be $50,000.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=15-604","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"d8e22d5358a87f17158b2bdc82b8c0a7968cb122d4f5ca811dd013adbe85d222","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-15-603","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-15-605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
