Code, Transportation § 16–206.1","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to the provisions of subsection (b) of this section, on receipt of notice described under § 7-104(h) of the Criminal Law Article that an individual licensed in the State has been convicted of a violation under § 7-104 of the Criminal Law Article for a failure to pay for motor fuel after the motor fuel was dispensed into a vehicle, the Administration:\n(1) For a first violation, may suspend the individual’s license for up to 30 days; and\n(2) For a second or subsequent violation, shall suspend the individual’s license for 30 days.\n(b) Subject to the provisions of Title 12, Subtitle 2 of this article, a licensee may request a hearing on a suspension under this section.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=16-206.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"dab9ab338eddfbc20793d5dae64fc32f04a11773fee6a7ff40898c367bf0dc2c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-16-206","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-16-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
