Code, Transportation § 21–1125","heading":"","body":"Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, a person may not drive a low speed vehicle:\n(1) On a highway for which the posted maximum speed limit exceeds 30 miles per hour;\n(2) On an expressway or another controlled access highway that is signed in accordance with § 21-313 of this title;\n(3) On a highway on which driving a low speed vehicle is prohibited by a county or municipal ordinance; or\n(4) Across a highway for which the posted maximum speed limit exceeds 45 miles per hour, except at an intersection that is controlled by:\n(i) A traffic control signal; or\n(ii) A stop sign at each approach to the intersection.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=21-1125","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"71b63abe06def5fce6769bc6fb5ab4e01bfa1b01052ecfe7a7add2aea4426fc7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-21-1124.3","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-21-1126"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
