Code, Transportation § 27–102","heading":"","body":"Except as provided in § 21–1207.1 of this article, a person who violates a restriction imposed on any license under the Maryland Vehicle Law or who violates a regulation adopted under the Maryland Vehicle Law is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction, in addition to any administrative penalty provided in the Maryland Vehicle Law, is subject to the greater of:\n(1) The penalty provided in § 27–101(b) of this title;\n(2) The penalty provided for a violation of § 16–113(j) of this article; or\n(3) The penalty provided for a violation of the statute under which the restriction is imposed or the regulation adopted.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=27-102","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"66414ab924c02e5a55ffeaa0a070f752232c09d74e739edc0e3795ff03976c97","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-27-101","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-27-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
