Code, Transportation § 5–426","heading":"","body":"(a) After holding a public hearing, the governing body of any publicly owned airport in this State may adopt regulations for:\n(1) The parking of motor vehicles at the airport, including provision of a uniform system for accessible parking for individuals with disabilities to enhance the safety of people with disabilities in conformity with:\n(i) The “Uniform System for Parking for Persons With Disabilities” (23 C.F.R. Part 1235);\n(ii) The “Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities” (Appendix A to 28 C.F.R. Part 36 and 36 C.F.R. Part 1191.1); and\n(iii) 14 C.F.R. Part 382.23(a);\n(2) The movement of traffic at the airport;\n(3) Safety at the airport; and\n(4) The preservation of order at the airport.\n(b) All regulations adopted under this section shall be posted conspicuously in a public place at the airport.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=5-426","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"ff3afc62b1bff6b99b6eae64fd83a1688d7fb8963786e3f0b9ffd48beaf76efd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-5-422","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-5-427"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
