Code, Transportation § 8–621","heading":"","body":"If any highway is constructed as a parkway or is constructed or designated as a freeway, the Administration may:\n(1) Regulate, restrict, or prohibit any specific access to the parkway or freeway from any other highway, if reasonable access to the parkway or freeway from the other highway otherwise is provided;\n(2) Regulate, restrict, or prohibit the use of the parkway or freeway by any class of vehicles or traffic, if an alternate route is provided for the restricted or prohibited classes; and\n(3) Maintain, discontinue, abandon, close, and exercise any other powers over the parkway or freeway to the same extent and in the same manner as in the case of any other highway.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=8-621","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"fdfffed932c5f17583c535b1a61a29e9a787e536cb62006dd4597541cec26ce9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-8-620","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-8-622"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
