Code, Transportation § 8–906","heading":"","body":"(a) A certified jurisdiction may:\n(1) Apply for matching grants from the Program; and\n(2) Use matching grant funds only for costs associated with:\n(i) The implementation of the complete streets policy, including the development and updates of policies, ordinances, procedures, and design manuals; and\n(ii) The design and planning of eligible projects.\n(b) A certified jurisdiction that receives a matching grant shall:\n(1) Maintain and update its complete streets policy;\n(2) Coordinate with the Department to confirm the accuracy of the baseline inventory of pedestrian and bicycle accommodations to identify priority projects;\n(3) Submit an annual progress report to the Department, in a form and manner prescribed by the Department; and\n(4) Comply with any other requirements that the Department considers necessary.","path":["Article - Transportation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gtr\u0026section=8-906","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:01:38Z","sha256":"8d998b9791e93572f5df06d961e00e0cb1e792ca95cba33bc8852f5cac5b9a6e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-8-905","next":"us-md/md.-code-transportation-8-907"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
