A person may not use a .17 or .22 caliber rimfire firearm or a shotgun using shot loads to hunt moose.\n1-A.  Hunting moose with a crossbow; 70 years of age or older.\n2.  Penalties.  The following penalties apply to violations of subsection 1.\nA.  A person who violates subsection 1 commits a civil violation for which a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 may be adjudged.\nB.
