Except as provided in section 1706 and unless a different maximum fine is specified by statute, the maximum fine that may be imposed by a court on a convicted organization is as follows:\n1.  Crime of murder.   In the case of the crime of murder, any amount;\n2.  Class A crime.   In the case of a Class A crime, $100,000;\n3.  Class B crime.   In the case of a Class B crime, $40,000;\n4.  Class C crime.   In the case of a Class C crime, $20,000; and\n5.  Class D crime or Class E crime.
