School bus shelters for school children, when approved by the school board of the unit in which they are located, may be placed or maintained outside the right-of-way and at least 33 feet from the center line of a highway.\n2.  Requirement.  A shelter shall be:\nA.  Constructed of steel or other durable material with concrete floor raised above ground level;\nB.  Kept clean, well painted or otherwise suitably maintained at all times; and\nC.  Kept free from snow.\n3.  Removal.
