{"data":{"id":"us-me/21-a-m.r.s.-375-a","jurisdiction":"us-me","citation":"21-A M.R.S. §375-A","heading":"Presidential and vice-presidential electors nominated by qualified parties","body":"If a party's candidate for presidential elector certified to the Secretary of State under section 322, subsection 2 dies, withdraws or becomes disqualified, the vacancy may be filled by a new presidential elector if the following conditions are met:\n1.  Written resignation.  A written resignation is filed with the Secretary of State by the previous presidential elector, if the mental and physical condition of the elector allows; and\n2.  Compliance with requirements.
