A resident who is serving on active duty in the United States Armed Forces and otherwise qualified to operate a motor vehicle:\nA.  Must receive a license or nondriver identification card on application to the Secretary of State;\nB.  Is exempt from the payment of a fee for a license or nondriver identification card;\nC.  May operate a motor vehicle, notwithstanding the expiration date of that person's license, without obtaining a new license; and\nD.  Shall, while operating a motor vehicle, carry conclusive evidence of membership in the Armed Forces.\n2.  After discharge.  The privileges of this section remain in effect for a period of 180 days after discharge or release from the Armed Forces.\n3.  Revocation or suspension.
