{"data":{"id":"us-me/30-a-m.r.s.-124","jurisdiction":"us-me","citation":"30-A M.R.S. §124","heading":"Bids, awards and contracts","body":"Any contract for construction, renovation or improvement of county buildings or facilities involving a total cost of $2,500 or more must be awarded by a system of competitive bidding.\nExcept for purchases through the State, the county commissioners shall make all purchases over $2,500 of services, supplies, materials and equipment needed by the county, or any department or agency of the county, by competitive bidding.  Title 5, chapter 155, subchapter I‑A governs these purchases as far as applicable.
