Except as provided in section 18305 and section 18371, subsections 3 and 6, a person may not practice or profess to be authorized to practice the activities described in this chapter without a license or during any period when that person's license has expired or has been suspended or revoked.\n2.  Unlawful practice.  A person may not:\nA.  Practice dentistry under a false or assumed name;\nB.  Practice dentistry under the name of a corporation, company, association, parlor or trade name;\nC.  While manager, proprietor, operator or conductor of a place for performing dental operations, employ a person who is not a lawful practitioner of dentistry in this State to perform dental practices as described in section 18371;\nD.  While manager, proprietor, operator or conductor of a place for performing dental operations, permit a person to practice dentistry under a false name;\nE.  Assume a title or append a prefix or letters following that person's name that falsely represent the person as having a degree from a dental college;\nF.  Impersonate another at an examination held by the board;\nG.  Knowingly make a false application or false representation in connection with an examination held by the board; or\nH.  Employ an unlicensed person to provide services for which a license is required by this chapter.\n3.  Penalties.  A person who violates this section commits a Class E crime.  Violation of this section is a strict liability crime as defined in Title 17‑A, section 34, subsection 4‑A.\n4.
