The board shall provide advice and assistance regarding training, technical assistance, standards and resources to the sexual assault forensic examiner programs.\nThe board may establish prerequisites applicable to persons who wish to participate in sexual assault forensic examiner training and authorize the issuance of certificates to those who complete the training.
