Except for the sale of consumer fireworks under section 223‑A, a person may not sell, possess with the intent to sell or offer for sale fireworks.\n2.  Value exceeds $5,000.  If the value of the fireworks exceeds $5,000, a person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class B crime.\n3.  Value exceeds $1,000.  If the value of the fireworks exceeds $1,000 but does not exceed $5,000, a person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class C crime.\n4.  Value does not exceed $1,000.  If the value of the fireworks does not exceed $1,000, a person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class D crime.\n5.
