Laws § 12.21","heading":"State treasurer office employees.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\nThe state treasurer shall have power to appoint a cashier, a bookkeeper, an assistant bookkeeper, a chief clerk and a securities clerk, who shall each perform such respective duties as the state treasurer may direct and require and who shall receive such salaries as shall be fixed by the state legislature.
