Laws § 124.284c","heading":"Prohibitions and penalties.","body":"Sec. 4c.\n\nThe authority may provide in its rules and regulations either or both of the following prohibitions and penalties:\n\nA person who knowingly submits or prepares for submission to the authority a false statement, representation, or certification is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both. Each violation constitutes a separate and distinct offense.\n\nA person who knowingly tampers with or alters a monitoring device or process, causing inaccurate readings or results, is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both.
