Laws § 124.765","heading":"Land bank fast track authority; creation; powers and duties; staffing; cooperation with state departments and agencies.","body":"Sec. 15.\n\nThe land bank fast track authority is created as a public body corporate and politic within the department.\n\nThe state authority shall exercise its powers, duties, functions, and responsibilities independently of the director of the department. The budgeting, procurement, and related administrative or management functions of the state authority shall be performed under the direction and supervision of the director of the department. The state authority may contract with the department for the purpose of maintaining the rights and interests of the state authority.\n\nSubject to available appropriations, if requested by the state authority, the department shall provide staff and other support to the state authority sufficient to carry out its duties, powers, and responsibilities.\n\nAll departments and agencies of state government shall provide full cooperation to the state authority in the performance of its duties, powers, and responsibilities.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 124","Act Act-258-of-2003"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-124-765","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"a5ed09d618f9125369ed4120c1206ba8d4a25459af916b0a938d480c0c2dda69","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-124.764","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-124.766"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
