Laws § 125.1523a","heading":"Civil violation; penalty; enforcement.","body":"Sec. 23a.\n\nIn addition to any other penalties or remedies provided by law, a person who is required to be licensed as a residential builder or residential maintenance and alteration contractor, or as a master or journeyman plumber, an electrical contractor or master or journeyman electrician, or a mechanical contractor shall not perform work on a residential building or a residential structure without first obtaining a license.
