Laws § 125.2327","heading":"Mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment; fraudulent practices.","body":"Sec. 27.\n\nA person shall not, in connection with the offer, sale, purchase, or rental of a mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment, relating thereto:\n\nEmploy a devise, scheme, or artifice to defraud.\n\nMake an untrue statement of material fact or omit to state a material fact necessary to make the statement not misleading, in the light of the circumstances under which it is made.\n\nA person shall not willfully authorize, direct, or aid in publication, advertisement, distribution, or circulation of a statement or representation concerning a mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment relating thereto, which misrepresents the facts concerning the mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment relating thereto.\n\nA person with knowledge that an advertisement, pamphlet, prospectus, or letter concerning a mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment relating thereto contains a written statement that is false or fraudulent, shall not issue, circulate, publish, or distribute the advertisement, pamphlet, prospectus, or letter concerning a mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment relating thereto.\n\nA person shall not willfully make any material misrepresentation in the sale of a mobile home, mobile home site, or equipment relating thereto.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 125","Act Act-96-of-1987"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-125-2327","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"5a1252104865083ecc4c8b5003f8ba8fdbe9b6e01d7e2de29872b7877c20f0ca","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-125.2325","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-125.2328"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
